Hello guys,

1) Just wondering if anyone knows about a gps software that gives you voice turn-by-turn directions, but that will fit in a 1gb micro sd card???

2) Is there anyway that my gps can automatically be turned on when I open Google maps. It is annoying when you are using the gps and you get a call, so when you go back to google maps you have to turn on gps again.

Thank you very much.

So far so good " I love my new Blackjack II"

1.3mbps tethering download speed<<<<-------CAN'T BEAT THAT!!!!

If you get GarminMobileXT and the NorthAmerican maps, you can install only your areas, whereas I installed from PA to Maine on my 512mb card, and it only took around 130mb.

About your GPS, nothing automatic, but before I launch any other GPS program, I launch /windows/gpstest.exe (you'll need a file explorer which will show hidden files to see it) which will then acquire a signal and hold it even during a call.

Did you buy it on a card or do you have the PC installer?

I have the Garmin North American CD which included a "MapInstaller" application. I just run that, connect my phone with Garmin XT running on it, and it shows me a map of all the areas included on the CD and I pick which to install.

But if you bought it preinstalled on a card, I'm afraid I don't think you can edit that. Not certain on that. Sorry...
