MMS max message size is 100k?

Hi there, it looks like outgoing MMS messages are limited to 100k (SP5m w/ WM6 Perfect Ed.), is that true? Is there a way to change that "max MMS size" value to 300k? I've tried changing that value with SmartTweaker but it didn't worked, I still see those only values (40k, 50k, ... & 100k) for the "max MMS size" and WM6 is still preventing me from sending the MMS if the size goes over 100k. Is it a WM6 or network operator limitation?

ummm... has got to be an operator limit, cuz i can see 30,100,300 values on a wm6 htc vox.. took me a while to find it tho, this setting is not where one woudl expect it  :(

My current WM6 ROM has nothing to do with my current operator (Fido in Quebec), I flashed it and installed an "improved" version of WM6 (called Perfect edition for my SP5m, build by some "power users"). To me, it looks like the version of WM6 I have installed on my smartphone has THIS limitation of 100k for the MMS message size? Why would they limit that when they build their custom ROMs? Is there a default MMS size of 100k for WM6? Would that mean that some network operators can increase that value when they're building their specific ROMs (e.g Fido's ROM)?

I dont think so, as the limit with my phone is 300k. all network operators in germany have a 300k limit on mms's, so here thats the max u can go. i have no clue about canada tho...

i just figured you had a branded phone and thus the limit for mms. obvously not. kinda strange.. :(

The MMS client retrieves that value from the registry IIRC, I guess SmartTweaker isn't tweaking it in the right place.

Do you know which MMS client version you're using?

Thanks Paul, the built-in MMS client is "MMS Composer v. 4.0.40.1", should I change it to another one and that would take care of my current limitaation of 100k?
