Prophet + Tomtom 6 +Holox BT-541

Hi!

My problem is that I have Qtek s200 (Prophet) and I tried TT6 with friends BT GPS reciver. It worked like charm. I was so thrilled so I bought one for myself at once. But I noticed that TT6 with new GPS wasn't so "qucik" as it was with my freinds gps. It was "late" 10-20 meters and updated wery slowly when I was turning on the new road.

I did some research and only difference I could find is that my friends GPS is SirfIII and mine is Skytraq (Holox BT-541).

As I am new in this gps area I am wondering is that cause of my "problem"?

Could it be fixed if something other is problem eg, boudreate is wrong or simmilar...

I have to tell you that I am satisfied with other aspects of mine BT-541 such as battery time, sensitivity (indoor reciveing), Smart power managment with Vibration sensor so I don't freely want to change gps reciver.

I did some research on GPS forums and people say that my problem is not caused of gps.

Is there any tweaks, solutions how to increase "performace" on my Prophet?

I too would be surprised if it was the GPS.

Yeah, I tried and everything is running smoothly :(

I really want to keep this gps reciver but if I don't find solution I have to change it.

I tried 2 different port COM 6 and COM 7 only those 2 were aviliable.

Anu suggestions?

If his works, and yours doesn't, then against the odds it HAS to be a GPS problem! I assume you configured each exactly the same?
