How to set ringtone to certain people?

How do you set a specific ringtone to a contact of oyurs, I tried it and for some reason i'm not given the option to set a ringtone for a certain person.

You just need to edit the contact info.

I get 2 options under edit contact info: Name and Number.

I figured it would be easy to assign specific rings on the BJ2, heck all my old school phones did it, but so far I cant find this feature anywere on the phone :D

it's there, contacts> choose a contact> edit> custom ring.

If your contacts are on your SIM card, specific ringtones may not be applied to the contact. You must first copy your contacts to your phone's memory.

thank you for some helpful advice! Cant describe how irritating it is to hear someone say "look harder" for something that is not there!!! :D

I was about to lose it trying to edit contacts that have nothing to edit, of course they are all on the sim, its a pretty new phone!

sorry for the look harder comment. forgot some people save to the sim. never do so it slipped my mind.

so when you transfer your contacts from an old "un"smartphone to the BJ2 via the simcard you have to move all the contacts onto the device? Is there a way to do this en mass? I suppose I could just do the ones that need their own tone. . .

I think i saw a program(freeware) here that does it for you. I know one exists but im not sure where i saw it. try AirFaGev.

PUT THE MP3 FILE INTO START-> MY STUFF -> MY SOUNDS. FROM THERE YOU CAN GO INTO CONTACT INFO AND ASSIGN A DIFFERENT RINGTONE TO A CONTACT
