How scratch resistant is the screen?

Having trashed the screen protector that came with it while trying to get it on, I ordered a new one from Javoedge. They are much better quality anyway. However, after several weeks of pretty heavy use, I can't see a mark on it! My old SVP c600 was covered in small scratches by then. Maybe cos it's a touchscreen they make it more robust?

Anyway, what is the experience of those of you who've been riding bareback for several months?

Ive never tested it to see personally. I wouldnt use a touchscreen or any mobile long term without a screen protector. saying that my qtek has ahd the same martin fields screen protector on since it was new over 2 years ago and its now showing wear on the virtual keyboard part of the screen, Im sure if the screen protector wasnt on it would have been the screen showing wear

I've NEVER used a screen protector on any of my Kaisers, which i've had since July last year :(

So far, not a mark.

In fact, I NEVER use screen protectors on ANY devices, and never had a problem, so perhaps i'm just careful. Phone always in a pocket on it's own.

Paul, I agree with you about screen protectors until one day, with my Wizard (my phones stay in my jeans pocket on their own with nothing else) someone put something in my pocket, and my screen had this dull scratching all over it, and I was gutted. Didn't make too much difference to the screen but it was annoying. So I bought a Jeremy Fields one or whatever it is, and it's like it's not there so I'm happy :(

I have to agree and disagree. On my old vario I never used a screen protector, and i never bothered with the one on my vario 2, but I game my step dad my old vario and he's not the most carefull of people, went for a walk one day with keys in his pocket with the vario and come back with a very deeply scratched screen. Painful to see I tell you! so the day I got my tytn 2 the screen protector was on and its never been off yet (although the girlfriend came close thinking it was still the original plastic cover from where it was boxed) and screen looks perfect.

Just my 2 cents lol

Hope you all had a good xmas and new year ! :(

I have had loads of devices since the original SPV... and never used a screen protector until I got this Kaiser (cos I got it free with the phone).

I took it off after about 36 hours as it just annoyed me that the screen responsiveness was so poor and the screen wasnt as "clear" with it on.

Like Paul, I keep my phone in a pocket all on its own.

That's exactly the reason why I wasn't keen on getting one. But my Martin Fields one makes the screen appear better, and doesn't compromise the screen responsiveness
