Strange but serious problem with Bluetooth on my e650

I'm looking for some help with a strange problem....

I normally use Bluetooth to sync my e650 with Outlook through Activesync. I sync with 2 separate machines and have done so now for a few years on different devices. I've been syncing with bluetooth and my e650 for at least the last 4 months without a problem. Suddenly today I can't sync my e650 with either computers. I can't resestanblish the partnership and I'm now limited to using a USB cable for syncing.

When I try to re-pair my e650, although the pairing appears to work I can't connect using Bluetooth and every attempt to sync through the e650 installation of Activesync asks me to set up a partnership. I've tried to see the services that my e650 offers and for some reason I get either nothing at all, a single activesync entry or headset and serial port. I'm fine wioth the last two but the first is very strange.

Lastly, the only thing that I have done since my last successful bluetooth sync has been to install Fring and Skype for Smartphones. I've uninstalled Fring and it's made no difference.

I've already deleted and recreated the previous partnerships several time before with any joy.

Has anyone else had problems like this with setting up a bluetooth partnership for an e650? Any advice would be very welcome.

Please note, I have set up bluetooth partnerships several times before and at least twice on this very device.

thanks in advance. I apologise if this is not the best place to add this help request.

I'm quite sure I had something like this before. Or at least something very similar. Have a look here.

Thanks ombre. I took a look and tried the advice there but to no available.

Looks like I might have to perform a hard reset.... :-(

That's a bit of a pain....any other suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions but in the end I just performed a hard reset. That (not surprisingly :( ) worked.
