How to reformat phone?

Hey everyone,

I just got the Kaiser and was wondering how to reformat it?

Bought it off a friend and everything he has is in here and I just wanted to to be a fresh load basicly. Any help?

Go to Start > Settings > System > Clear Storage.

Then type in 1234, and click Yes.

The phone will then restart, and wait for the phone to finish installing everything, then you'll have a fresh phone.

1 more question.. I just noticed that this went away.

On my home screen where it shows the upcoming appointments, under it used to have the battery life, the usage + amount of money ive spent for the bandwidth of internet, and I could change the brightness of my screen.. but now its gone once I reformatted it, where is that located??

That would have been an application or a series of applications that your friend installed on the phone.

I'm not sure which one it was, but if you search around, you'll find lots of them with this functionality. Some are free, while others cost money to register.

You should ask your friend which one was installed.
