Guest Bwana The Iguana Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 I think many are experiencing weird 'happenings' with myFaves. I for one have to request myfaves to be updated every time after a reboot. Only after the update the myFaves icon will pop up on the NEO interface. I know others prefer the myFaves to be gone completely. Looking throug the registry there are seem to be two keys that appear to be dealing with myFaves. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\My5 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CMyFaves What I would like to know is what the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\My5\My5App:InitialLaunchState holds. Mine is a 3. Does anyone have any idea what's set here? Or what the options are?
Guest PilotSmith Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Mine also goes away after I power down and in a day or so it comes back. Pretty strange. I like the look of the "Home page" on the phone with the calendar and large clock when My Faves is gone. I wish that when it was hidden that the clock and calendar would appear. But when My Faves is updated and appears back on the phone the "Home" icon goes away and so does the large clock. When I set My Faves to be minimized and off the screen the clock and calendar to not appear. If anyone knows how to get the clock and calendar to appear when you minimize My Faves, please post how. Thanks!
Guest tenderidol Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 I dont have myFaves on my account, but I enabled the myFaves interface by following the instructions here: http://shadowregistryhacks.blogspot.com/20...-interface.html It exists together with the Home key (as shown in the picture) instead of replacing it... May be the comparison of registry entries between a "real" myFaves interface and a "fake" one might help you guys with that problem :(
