Just how good is the TyTn II

Hi guys,

I'm currently using an MDA Compact III (with a broken scroll wheel - long story!) and am on an 18 Month contract. I'm now just over 12 months through my contract and am bored of the phone. I really want something thats going to be impressive (boys and their toys!) and the TyTn II seems to be it.

The problem I have is I really don't want to wait until the end of the contract, renew, and get myself into another hefty 18 month contract in order to get the phone at a reasonable price (though still have to fork out £50 a month for bill!). So, I'm considering buying it sim free and putting the sim I have now in there. As well as maybe subscribing to the Sky Tv package through t-mobile which I understand it can use?

I just wanted to get your advice on whether you think its worth bothering or not? I know people already say its an amazing device and hopefully theres not going to be anything coming out in the next year that can surpass it??? lol I know a new and better device will come out but I'm just kind of thinking of the longetivity of it if that makes sense. I had my Nokia 8310 (the really small one) for around 2 years and still loved it in its time.

Anyway, what do you think? Is it worth it or not?

Look forward to hearing your views!

Thanks in advance!

Someone within the Kaiser section of the forum is selling one:

I got my TyTN II in Early December and I must admit it is fantastic. It is worth every penny.
