Couple of issues at the moment, probably others eventually, haven't played with the phone that much although I've had it a number of months now. I have a Vario 2 with Windows Mobile 5 installed and I'm trying to view Sky tv using Windows Media player but for some reason the transmission times out after about 3 minutes every time I connect. I've been trying to alter one or two settings on the media player but nothing seems to make any difference. I've downloaded RealPlayer for Mobile to see if this will function any better but haven't managed to get it to load and run anything yet. What's the best thing to do ? I would also like to listen to radio channels like BBC Radio 5 and was wondering what is the best way of listening to them, the BBC web site says RealPlayer is needed for radio 5 but the Realplayer mobile software doesn't seem to work, the website tells me to download a RAM file called surestream as it starts Real Player, Real Player gives the impression it's trying to connect to the site and then times out. What's the best way to go ? Thanks. :(
Guest Monolithix Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Are you trying to use this over GPRS/3G or through Wifi? IIRC don't T-Mobile block streaming media, if you are trying to use a mobile data connection?
