Guest thelostsoul Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 (edited) Is the file greater than 300kb? There's a file size limit on the device, which you can remove here: http://www.modaco.com/content/Samsung-i617...Thread-of-Tips/ But also try putting it in /Storage Card/ or /My Documents/ or /Application Data/Sounds. ok i feel stupid asking "It's better to ask and be a fool for a while, then to never ask and remain a fool forever" :( Edited January 9, 2008 by thelostsoul
Guest BRaVO503 Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 Is the file greater than 300kb? no it was only 17kb as a mp3 and like 40kb as a wma
Guest BRaVO503 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 figured it out, and it really simple just put your file into \Application Data\sounds either using activesync's explorer or the file explorer on the phone and they will show up on the list. I have tried wma, mp3 and wav(they all work) Iam pretty sure if somone looks hard enough they can find a registry key to modify the default folder but this is easy enough i think
