Guest mjmahon Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I just bought an unlocked Shadow from eBay and am using it with AT&T. I'm running into a problem that I've noticed many people have before. I get a text message upon boot up saying "Error 453 Invalid Number" etc etc. I've come to the conclusion that its the my faves service that is causing this error and I'm trying to delete the program files. Using Total Commander, it shows that those programs aren't listed in the startup file, but using Celetask I can see that the processes are running (and do so every time I boot up, even if I kill them). The processes are these: myFavesService.exe and My5MsgCenter.exe. I purchased and downloaded the IMEI unlock to CID unlock it, which I believe it does, and now I'd like to adjust the ROM so I can delete those exe files. Does anyone know how to do that? Or do you have any other suggestions to get rid of the text message? I've googled pretty much every solution, but nothing's worked thus far. Thanks

It showed me where My5 was located in the registry and I deleted that part entirely... And so far so good - no text message! Looks like it worked thanks so much that makes my life a lot easier haha.
