Managing memory on my Pantech Duo

My Duo, which I've owned for around 2 months, just alerted me that I'm low on physical memory. A check of the device's available memory via Windows Mobile Device Center shows that 1.3 MB of it's 56 MB is free. However, when I Explore the device's file contents and add up each of the storage calculations for the few folders that exist (Application Data, ConnMgr, Documents and Settings, MAPI, My Documents, and Program Files) I find that only 14MB has been used. Show Hidden Files is enabled for folder views.

How do I uncover the missing 32 MB (or is this reserved for system use)?
