Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Hi All, I have both Opera 6 and Pocket IE installed on my device. However both items lock up when loading the youtube.com website (NOT the mobile one). Anyone have any ideas why this ? Then if I kill the PIE or Opera application, the device remains sluggish until I soft-reset it. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Guest hicks Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 This happened to me until I uninstalled flash from the device. This is not necessary to play videos from the YT site (if you have the correct codecs etc installed), and frankly the version of IE that shipped with the kaiser is slow enough without worrying about it flash too :)

Guest Subliminal Aura Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 Out of curiosity can you now launch TCPMP to play youtube videos directly from opera mini ? Opera mini is my browser of choice u c :) Way faster than opera/PIE. The way I browse youtube is to use opera mini until I find something interesting and then copy the url to play in PIE which in turns launches TCPMP

Other than that ... I have no idea ! :D
