Guest sp000 Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Currently got an S710, dont really like it too much, the earpiece gave up after a couple of months and gives off a really tinny sound and obviously the rubber stops for the charger and memory have expanded and no longer fit in their places, a common problem i am assured. Im just hoping the TyTn II doesn't have the same rubber bits??! Looking to get one but i wont if its going to look like a dog eared mess after a couple of months like my S710!
Guest hotphil Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 The power socket (mini USB) has no rubber bit (hooray!!). But the memory card slot is covered by a small rubber piece. Mine seems OK, but it doesn't get manipulated as I've never taken the card out - with USB2.0 file transfers to it over ActiveSync I have no need to.

I did the same with my S710 but the rubber still warped! ill have to have a look at one to check if its the same part, i've a feeling it is, unless you have a picture?
