Guest dwpa Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 After reading the post about GPS tracking for a lost/stolen phone, I decided to give one of the suggested programs a try. I got Mobile Justice from sourceforge and it installed without a hitch, but when I go to configure it, it wants me to enter the "allowed" SIM card in case the SIM is changed when stolen. Which is fine, except that to do that, I have to know the IMSI of the SIM I have now. Does anyone know a code I can enter to get my BJ2 to tell me what the IMSI is? Any help would be very appreciated. --dwpa
Guest jimbouk Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) Apparently: 1. Connect your phone to your PC's COM port - disable activesync. 2. Start any terminal program (e.g. Hyperterm) and select a port the phone is connected to. 3. Type in "AT+CIMI" command (w/o quotes, terminated by Enter). 4. See result. Or look on the credit card sized card your sim popped out of? Edited January 19, 2008 by jimbouk
