Guest Neil5459 Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Sounds like Activesync has got its knickers in a twist! It should not have 'recognised' the new phone at all, but should have started the 'New Partnership'Wizard. Your best bet for now is to eiither do another hard reset, or go into AS on the new phone then Menu/Options and Delete any exitsting partnership (highlight Windows PC, Windows PC 2 etc then Delete) Now open A/S on the PC and go File/Delete Partnerships (meuni may have changed with A/S 4 - I can't remember as I now use Vista!) and delete all partnerships. Now reconnect the new M700 and a New Partnership wizard should start. You ought now to be able to define what syncs. If ou have data on the device, yo will get the Conflicts warning- elect to 'Repace Items on My Device' and all should be well.
