Bootup For Smartphone

Just wondering, does it take a while (more than 5 seconds) for smartphones to boot up? Or is it just T-Mobile Shadow?

I have a Shadow and it takes a while to boot up (way more than 5 seconds)

Anyway to shorten it?

All WM5+ Smartphones take a LOT of time to boot up.

Starting from the moment the first LED came on, I counted roughly 60 mississippis for my E650 to boot up :)

Look at this way : this is a serious hardcore device you have in your hand. Anything that boots up in mere seconds clearly doesn't have much going on underneath the hood. Good things come to those that wait. Somethng like that... <_

Don't forget the Smartphone is basically a small PC and when you power on it's the same as booting up your pc at home, and how long does that take including all those annoying background apps to load etc?

To be honest, it takes no more than 10 seconds for me to fully boot.

1: Why do you need to turn it off regularly?

2: It's...like...a minute, surely you can hold out that long? :)
