How do i tether my AT&T Q9 for internet use with my Macbook?

Hello!

I have heard of people using their cell phone service to get internet access to their computers. In my case, I want to use my AT&T Q9 to grab some internet for my Macbook when doing some traveling. My phone's internet speed is 3G. Anyone have experience tethering with AT&T? Anyone know of any good links on the tethering subject as it pertains to Macs? Thanks so much!
