Guest magoo Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Hi everybody, I am not being able to install .cab files. I copy them to my mobile using ActveSync but when I try to run the file I receive the message "Impossible to find "_NAME OF THE CAB FILE_" or one of it's components. Check the path or the name of the file are correct and that all the libraries required are available" (this is my best gest translation of the message in Italian! :) ) The programs that I am trying to install should work fine (most of them are from Paul's must have FREE HTC Vox Software!): Card_Cache; InboxExtender; MoDaCo_DoNew; MoDaCo_Google_Search, ecc. I tryed copying the .cab files to My Documents; the root directory of the phone and to the memory card (I created a directory CABs) and I have always the same problem. The phone is unlocked and in the past I installed .cab files in my phone without problems. I think that I may have done something wrong with the registry playing with SKTools! :D Any idea about how to solve this problem? Thanks! Daniel
Guest Confucious Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 If you've screwed up your registry without backing it up then a hard reset will fix it.
