Guest rickyricardo Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Okay, I am going to try and ask this question again. Hoping someone has the answer for me. I installed TCPMP on my Blackjack II. Picture is perfect, really impressed with the video quality. Problem is I cant hear the audio. Now, I havent yet received my 3.5MM adaptor yet so I still cant use headphones. Should I be able to use the internal speaker on the phone like I did with xm during my 3 day trial? thanks..........................rick
Guest thelostsoul Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Can't hear audio out of the speaker? Try these: "Options - Audio - Audio Driver" and make sure it's set to "Wave Output" Keep pressing the up key to make sure the volume is turned up (also try options - settings - select page - advanced and check the option "use system volume"; then press the up key while playing) Ensure the correct option is selected under "Options - Audio - Streams" If those don't work, try playing the file on your PC to make sure it's not the file. Also, test the device's audio with another player..

Error code say: "Player: Audio coded (Window Media Audio) not supported by the player!" Is there a fix for this through the Options / Advanced settings? I haven't tried any of my movie files at home yet, but I'll try and let everyone know. UPDATED WITH SOLUTION: I did a little more searching on this topic and found a solution that works. Here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298126 In addition, I downloaded and am using TCPMP 0.81RC1 I had an old WMV file that was choppy, but audio worked. I'll see if these work with some of the movies that I have at home and let everyone know. Edited January 31, 2008 by eman006

Guest eman006 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 (edited) Are you able to get sound when you attempt to play WMV files via Windows Media Player? I tried to play the same file in WMP and it played with sound but video was choppy (audio fine), but less choppy than TCPMP. Again, found the solution for the no audio in TCPMP below. HOWEVER, when I tried getting sound through my Bluetooth Stereo Headset, the video came in all choppy, but the audio sounded great. Anyone know any tricks to fix the choppiness while using a BT headset besides from getting a headphone adapter and tethering?
