Guest slippers Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 I have just been into my local three store having read about cheap data, skype calls, instant messenger in addition to loads of cheap x-network minutes. I read that some HTC handsets (3g compatible only) will work on the 3 network but I was wondering if they will allow you to use all the 3 services? My main interest is the unlimited (almost) skype usage. If for example I used an unlocked kaiser, would I be able to use 3's skype minutes (routed across voice as I understand it) or would I only be able to use skype over my data connection? I hope I have asked this clearly enough. Any advice will be appreciated! Paul
Guest dskid807 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 It's probable, there might be a .cab to install but I'm guessing it'd work.
Guest Monolithix Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 MSN on 3 is slightly odd due to their monitoring system, so the normal WLM Mobile client doesn't work, and they don't have a WinMo version of theirs available. I don't know for sure, but i'd imagine there isn't a WinMo version of their Skype client either. Having said that, i used Palringo for MSN just fine on 3...never tried Skype...
