Email Notifications - without Mobile Internet?

Hi Everyone!

I've always wanted to be notified when I recieved email when I'm not at my computer.

Is it at all possible to recieve email on my mobile phone, without having access to the internet on my mobile device?

Orange do free text alerts if you use orange.net email.

Other than text alerts you would need a mobile data connection to actually get notified about new emails.
