MS Voice Command 1.6 Smartphone Version Announcements

Someone with MS Voice Command 1.6, can you hear announcements through your system speaker? I have the option to play through the speaker set but when I ask anything at all (schedule, time, etc.) I hear nothing. All I hear are the standard beeps to say a command. If I have all confirmations off, I can open a contact or place a call but thats about it.

I don't use a bluetooth headset so I don't know if it works with that.

I have the same problem. Is there a fix?

One thing I know is that on my phone it doesn't get along with overclocking at all. If I want to use VC I have to set the phone back to 264 MHz.

It also seems to sometimes get a little tangled up with Photo Contacts as well. VC is a nice program, but not very tolerant of sharing system resources.

For my money, this is hte kind of thing that indicates thsi phone needs an upgrade to a much faster processor to keep up with things.

My phone is not overclocked. I have Garmin Mobile XT and the Modaco GPS hack installed and that is it. Help.
