Guest su6oxone Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 So I ordered a BJ2 online, and just found out, much to my chagrin, that the BJ2 uses a different headphone/charger jack than the BJ1. This aggravates me as a BJ1 owner who is upgrading to the BJ2, but the worse thing is that I can't seem to find anyplace that sells headphones for the BJ2. The AT&T store sells a headphone that says it is compatible with the BJ1 and BJ2, which can't be right if they have different type of jacks. Ebay has nothing even, and Amazon only has one headset for the i617 listed but it's only available from like one seller at a not so cheap price. Any ideas where to get some headphones? Thanks!
Guest lonesomecrow Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 here is one which I think is convenient cuz you can plug any earphones you wish since it comes w/ an adapter.

I got this Samsung SGH-A737 OEM Hands-free Stereo Soft-Gel Headset and the sound is awesome - as good as my Shure i2-cT that I used with my Cingular 8125 - and it has a call/answer button/ - a fantastic deal for $20 IMHO

HEADSET HEADPHONES 3.5MM ADAPTER FOR SAMSUNG I617 A737 Have any of you tried this headphone adapter / mic? How is the sound quality with other headphones? Does the phone functionality of it work well (i.e. people can hear you loud and clear)? Just want to make sure before I commit. Thanks. Edited February 5, 2008 by eman006

Guest dmsaelee Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 I hate that Samsung phones require a adaptor for headphones. So I ended up getting the bluetooth Motorola S9 headphones. It works flawlessly when I'm walking around my apartment, but when it's in my pocket, the audio cuts out frequently. Bluetooth can go through walls, but not the denim of my pants? Go figure...

I have one, but it's rather clunky and I am planning on returning it. The OEM headphones sound pretty good for earbuds. Cost $17 from ebay, and appears to be legit.

The OEM headphones sound pretty good for earbuds. Cost $17 from ebay, and appears to be legit. I bought this. I wanted to use my old 2.5mm wired headset, which I really liked, so I bought this adapter and then I bought a 3.5mm>2.5mm adapter from monoprice for $3. The sound was great through my 2.5mm headset but unfortunately, the microphone didn't work. Therefore, I don't feel that I can recommend this adapter if you're planning to use it has a phone headsheet. It will be just fine if you just want to listen to music.
