BBC, ITV & C4 on smartphone?

Is there any way I can view the BBC iplayer, ITV catch up and Channel 4 OD services on my smartphone (SPV E650)?

I have wifi access on my SPV E650 so I don't mind if I can stream or download to watch later.

I think the itv.com catch up service uses windows media player and the other two use flash (not 100% sure), so is there any way I can download these plug ins to work on my mobile browser or, as I said previously, can I download them and watcth them later?

Any help would be appreciated

Hmm not sure on those ... you can certain view Youtube and google video ....

BBC iPlayer would require flash ... which you can get on the PDA phones.

One other option is to look at ORB. http://www.orb.com/orb/

That claims to do mobile TV stuff.

Can you not get flash on the 'normal' smartphone?

I had a look into Orb, but apparently it won't stream files with DRM encryption which I know BBC iplayer has (not sure about the other two).

Yes, you can get flash ... although I had to remove it from my TyTN II because it killed the device performance wise. Otherwise id have tried iPlayer for you.

Ive just done a quick google to see if I can see anything that says that iPlayer may work on a PDA. Apparently they are due to release a PDA version soon.

Wicked news that iPlayer is coming to mobile devices :) Shame it breaks the Ts and Cs of a lot of the mobile data tariffs ;p

I think all the services use DRM of some description don't they?

Hmm thinking about it, i don't remember seeing streaming being banned in the latest tmob ts n cs, seems they've caught up! :)
