Guest rebecker Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I'm looking for a small, free app similar to Notepad for my TyTN II. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. -Bob-
Guest hotphil Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 What is it you need it to do that Word can't?
Guest rebecker Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 What is it you need it to do that Word can't? Actually, I want less :) . Word sometimes seems to change the format, adding unnecessary coding. -Bob-
Guest mandt Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 (edited) How about an exact copy of Notepad for PPC :) http://tillanosoft.com/ce/pnotepad.html Free too! Edited January 24, 2008 by mandt

Guest Neil5459 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 How about an exact copy of Notepad for PPC :) http://tillanosoft.com/ce/pnotepad.html Free too! Another vote for Tillanosoft here- the program is tiny (60k) and doesn't mess with formatting like Word does. While you're there, get Tillanosoft Spacefinder too- very handy for finding where your storage memory has gone. Free version is adequate.
Guest rebecker Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Thanks. I'll give pNotepad a try.
Guest Subliminal Aura Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 pNotepad looks good, I've just installed it. Just wish Pocket File explorer could do an opens with option :|
Guest Neil5459 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 pNotepad looks good, I've just installed it. Just wish Pocket File explorer could do an opens with option :| Get Resco File Explorer- that has an 'Open With' option. Trial version is valid for 14 days.
