Hi Paul and Chris,

Excellent podcast, I've added it to my list for listening to each week. I stand a much better chance of listening to this on my daily commute rather than get to the site to read all the news.

A point on the VS2005/VS2008 editions that you mentioned. A couple of years ago I went to the VS2005/SQL Server 2005 launch event and walk away with vouchers for VS 2005 Professional edition and SQL Server 2005 Standard edition all for attending a free launch event :D

Microsoft announced the VS2008/Window Server 2008/SQL Server 2008 launch event last week in Birmingham on March 19th. Of course there is no mention of freebie give aways, but you never know. :) Visit www.heroeshappenhere.co.uk for more details.

Unfortunately the Dev Track is full now and they have a waiting list. The IT Pro track still appears to have spaces.

It might just be another way to get a free (or cheap) version VS 2008 Professional Edition.

Cheers

Mark
