Guest tsutton Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 I want to use my Kaiser to share the GPRS connection so my other phone (SPV C500) can use it. Possible? If so, how? :)
Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Erm ... surely you can use bluetooth and "internet connection sharing" on the kaiser. I don't know how to set it up ... but apparently that is the way to do it. I suppose the other application is WMWifiRouter ... but Ive had problems with that.
Guest tsutton Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Erm ... surely you can use bluetooth and "internet connection sharing" on the kaiser. I did try that, but it was looking for "Bluetooth PAN" which I don't think my C500 have.
Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Aaah thats where I get stuck Im afraid. However Id also love to suss out how to do it. I'll investigate later if someone doesn't assist in the meantime.

Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Tony ... I think this might be of help. I'm having a google as I'm meant to be working !!! http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/vie...ic.php?p=371262 That describes connecting two devices using a PAN. Without checking, I would guess the pre-requisites are ... enable bluetooth on your main device, then enable ICS shared over bluetooth. Then pair with your other device, search for services and select network access. I'm gonna try this later when I get my work done ;-)
Guest tsutton Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I didn't have any luck with this... have you (or anyone?)
