I have searched for previous posts but i was unsuccessfull.

I seem to remember that there was a post reccomending a web company offering the Kaiser fir free on W+w + Flext 35 for £37.50 pm.

What do you guys think is the best deal at the mo ?

Im interested in the W+W flext 35.

Got my Kaiser from T-mob. My upgrade deal:

I'm on flex-t 35 with WnW

They charged me 70 squid for the Kaiser, plus they gave me 5 pounds off my line rental per month for the duration of my contract + free weekend calls.

Thanks for the quick reply mate,

I was hoping on getting the kaiser for as little as possible. It will be a port from orange but i was just looking for the best deal with a trustable company if not T-Mob themselves.

I seem to remember someone on here reccomending a company which did a really good deal and leaving a link to them.

I cant for the life of me find it.

It was me :)

The company that I got a really good deal from was www.scancom.co.uk

The deal was just for January, but they normally have some really good deals on and are great to deal with.

Out of curiousity, as you only bought the Kaiser for £70 on the flext 35 tarif, is it possible for you to downgrade, to say a lower tarif?

Also, I take it you're contract is a 18 month contract, and not a 12 month contract?

on t-mobile if you are on an 18 month tariff, which you are by default unless you specify 12 months, then you may only downgrade after 11 months

my deal was:

Flext 25

Web 'n' Walk as a seperate add-on

Vario III for £120

512MB memory card thrown in for free

and insurance which will be cancelled within the 13 day cooling off period helps get the price lower

I have heard that somebody got it free on flext 35 w'n'w by saying they'd get the insurance with it then cancelling the insurance the next day (you don't pay if you cancel within 14 days) from a t-mobile store.

the best thing to do is find the best deal you can, go into a t-mobile store and pretend another retail outlet (another network or a different t-mo store) have given you that deal, and the store will often try to better it for you to seal the deal. the worst that'll happen is they say no, but in that case just go to a different store and try again - if you run out of stores you've still got a good deal online :)

Ah ha, my suspicions were correct! The 18 month contract seems sooo attractive because of the cheap price of the handset. The downside is that you can't downgrade or upgrade whenver you want. This is a freedom you're granted on a 12 month contract, which is what I am.

To have a phone for 1 year and a half.....scares me....

I'm on a 12 month contract, originally on flext 25, but now on flext 35 with web and walk (with £5 discount) with insurance through fonesafe. I can down and upgrade whenever I want. In my opinion, the extra money for the handset and reduced minutes on the 12 month contract is worth having the freedom to choose how much money I pay per month.

i thought you could only downgrade on a 12 month after month 6...

i've also no intention of keeping the phone for 18 months, i usually upgrade every 6-8, but only if theres something better than i have atm. I only got the 18 month contract as its just theprice plan and you get better value on it.

apparently you can have a 24 month contract if you're a business customer :s that would be really crummy - or a new 3-year contract on bell wireless with their "new" addition, the touch:p

Uh- Nuh. I was originally on a flext 25, then attached web and walk, and then after a couple of months, I then upgraded to flex 35. I was specfically told that I can downgrade and upgrade whenever I want! I assume its because I'm on a 12 month contract, and because I paid more for my phone than those on 18 month contracts. 18 month contract = cheaper. 12 month contract= better choice, flexibility and control.

And a 24 month contract- thats even scarier....

Went through the whole 'try several times till you get someone helpful' routine with disconnections, and now have Kaiser on Orange with:

Select 500 - £25pcm (last years plan)

250 txt - free

Phone - free

Free Jabra bt headset

KILLER DEAL:

Orange business data tariff 2048Mb (2 Gig) for £25 pcm, but £20 recurring credit on account for life of contract (12 months) - this was a pain to convince the guy I needed, but it seems obvious that they should match best of competitors... Anyway, he had to get special authorisation, but it went through. :) Have yet to receive first bill, so I'll see whether they've got it right! I'm pretty happy with that! They did mention they were looking at their data tariffs in line with the competition...

Can't figure out the GPS though. Is it always on?

See I would have stayed with Orange for that deal. Instead they lost a customer of ten years, who spent a bit more than that each month.
