Guest klotter Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Hi! Im probably getting my vox on wednesday! So.... what should i do first, on my tonado i updated the firmware and unlocked it, same with the vox? What i need? Tornado power control? what is safe speed? my tornado managed 264mhz same CPU right? Regedits? Unlocks? Firmware? Is there any way to tilt the screen without sliding out the keyboard? Going to get the smallest bluetooth gps in the world: Freedom mini gps And then route 66 navigate 7 or tomtom 6 from tpb or some other nice gpsprog any suggestions?
Guest prajith Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 go through the must have apps for vox list its stickied, that will get you started a minimal overclock to 228Mhz is suggested I have been using a Holux M1000B bluetooth receiver with my Vox. its very sensitive and accurate I am not sure about how accurate the smallest gps would be. I use Efficasoft GPS Utilities for GPS

My only advice would be to avoid Route 66 like the plague. Had a real nightmare with it myself, it ended up destroying two memory cards worth £50 and even after that I never got it working (it's not meant to support WM6 but seems to work on some devices). Definitely worth the extra money to get Copilot
Guest klotter Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Haha i installed the route 66 ;D and it worked very well. wierd it said wm2003 wm5 and wm6 ill flashed the rom so ill try the tomtom6 now i think.
