Help require 1Gb TomTom -> 8Gb

I wish to copy my TomTom map off the 1Gb card supplied onto my new 8Gb card. The 8Gb card came with

a reader/writer USB plug in. When plugged in with either the 1Gb or 8Gb cards in I am getting a drive letter for it but a message pops up sayin "please install a drive".

What am I missing? :)

Fixed the problem - the microSD card wasn't plugged in properly. :)

I've had similar problems with my Sandisk 8GB micro-SD card with supplied reader - it seems to be very tempremental.
