Guest djtwok Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 I did a Hard reset cause my problems with Kaiser playing no MP3s could not be solved (http://www.modaco.com/content/HTC-Kaiser-Kaiser-MoDaCo-com/264966/HTC-suddenly-plays-no-more-MP3s/). No it plays MP3s as usual, but my screen has problems: The spot where the time should be shown in the upper right, is empty (just grey), and where the signal strength should be is also empty (see screenshot).
Guest dolbe666 Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 What do you have installed? that theme doesnt look like a wm6 theme. theres no 3D GUI. if you have changed the theme it could be causing the problem. if you havent changed the theme then there is a problem with your default GUI
Guest Alkali Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Or may be you have some sort of tweaks! That could also cause such problem.
Guest djtwok Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 That theme is the default theme given by my operator (ONE - AUSTRIA). I´ve installed Kaiser Tweak, but the screen problem was there before (just after the hard reset). Here is a screenshot of my Home Page.
Guest dolbe666 Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 this is what I mean by the default theme. notice the 3D task bars on the top and bottom. yours look like wm5 not wm6 task bars
Guest djtwok Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Wisbar Advance 3 did the job. I installed the app and now my screen looks like yours and the symbols are ok now.
Guest mandt Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 This happens when you tweak the UI to not show a clock or a battery icon in the titlebar, and everything gets pushed to the right over the empty space. Check here fore more info: http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Windows_M...I_Modifications specifically the section titled 'Change the display of the clock in the taskbar'

That worked, the showclock entry was set to 0. The strange thing is only, i never changed this one and it was set to 0 just after a hard reset.
