Unlock BJII

Sorry All, but iam superconfused with all tha unlocking thats needs to be done to get full value out of a phone like the BJII. So may i humbly ask for some guidance and clarification about unlocking types:

1. "Carrier" Unlock

First of all the phone needs to be unlocked to work with any SIM ? I read something about a code you get for free from ATT for that ?

2. SIM Unlock

Same as 1. ??? If yes, which procedure is this ? Reliable or good chances to brick the pone?

3. App Unlock

Same unlocking we did since the beginning of WM time -setting some Reg keys to allow installation of all available apps. However, do we have a Registry Editor for the Samsung that does it?

4. GPS Unlock

Also a Registry patch that lets the GPS be usable...

Hope thats it. Can all the above be done by somebody without a nobel prize + 50 years of mobile device experience ? I am planning to buy a BJII in the US and use it with a german T-Mobile SIM in Germany. Any reason to not do that? Can the phone be the standard ATT thing like from Newegg.com or do it needs to be especially unlocked, cause it cannot be done @home?

im sure you cant ask about unlocking here. but app unlock lets u use apps that are unsigned(i think). and the program for that usally does the GPS which mis an app. that open up the GPS to be used with other programs that use the GPS. you can get the phone unlocked by using att and asking them. i can get it done for sure. i did my razr unlocked, but it was the illegal way which cannot be discussed im sure :)
