Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 Hi All, I was wondering, has anyone looked into any form of power for the EEE in a car? Im currently out househunting, and whilst the TyTN II is great for email, its a bit of a pain to do any kind of prolonged surfing. Therefore Id love to get a cigarette socket based charger which powers the EEE. Of course the alternative is to put the power inverter into the car and use the mains charger, but I was after a neater solution. Cheers WTFH
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 First Google result for 'eee car charger': http://shop.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=02343 :)
Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 ... and to think I frown upon people whom ask questions without googling first!!! Doh! Thanks for finding that ... I think I might grab one of those.
Guest bugmenot111 Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 I use the Radio Shack universal charger, item 273-1818. $37.99 USD plus like another $7 for the AdaptaPlug "C" tip to fit the Eee. I run it at 10v. I've been using it for about 6 months now. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...mp;tab=features
