Remove Windows Media Player...

Hey all I am newer here to the forum and a curious if anyone knows how to remove the windows media player plugin on the T-Mobile basic Blue How Screen. If you know how I can I can fix this I would be greatful. Also is there anyway to have the calender list all things happening during the day on the home screen? Thanks.
