Guest mwright Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 (edited) The "link for enclosure" in this article is to podcast four and not five! The link in the download section is ok though- Edited February 11, 2008 by mwright
Guest Monolithix Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Thanks! Updated the text and not the url! :)
Guest Monolithix Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Apologies for the chatting cross-over wierdness, will chase Paul up about it!
Guest bacus Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Thanks guys, downloading now. Just a suggestion, but could we have two RSS feeds - one for the M4A and one for the MP3? Then, my auto-download would only have to download the one I want to listen to, rather than both. Other sites that I subscribe to, do it this way eg, http://revision3.com/ and http://twit.tv/ What do you (and other listeners) think? Keep up the good work. Lee
Guest Thumper Net Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Any chance of a skype mailbox for leaving messages as that is free and you would get more calls as well , the telephone number outside the uk is a bit expensive also most podcasters use skype for the reason of attracting more feedback
Guest Dade Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Guys, hope you take this as constructive feedback, I'm in no way trying to knock what you are doing here, the podcast is a cool idea. However, I know you are relatively new to all this but do you think you could try and avoid all the 'erm' and 'er's while you are talking? Once you notice them it gets to be a little irritating. I'm sure you'll improve as time goes by and you become more relaxed and natural in your delivery so please do keep up the good work! Oh and FYI, I was just like this when I started the unbox videos and do you know how hard it is to consciously NOT say something!? :)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 You could make a fortune if you could write software to strip 'ers' and 'erms' from an audio recording :) P
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Thanks for the feedback tho! p
Guest Dade Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 You could make a fortune if you could write software to strip 'ers' and 'erms' from an audio recording :) P Write that software - I'd buy a license!
Guest Monolithix Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 For the RSS - that might be possible now we've tidied up the posting and uploading arrangements. *looks at Paul...*
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 RSS is definitely possible, they'd be two seperate downloads areas then. And two seperate iTunes subscriptions... P
Guest Monolithix Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 That's workable though i think?
Guest bacus Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 RSS is definitely possible, they'd be two seperate downloads areas then. And two seperate iTunes subscriptions... Thanks for considering it guys. It'd be great if you could. Cheers Lee
