tomtom map problem

Hi

I have a Hermes pda with 6.030 running 650(1046) maps and full 7 digit postcodes working.

If i use 660 or 675 maps with 6.020 or 6.030 it crashes on the legal notice screen.

If i use 660 or 675 maps with 6.000 the maps work but i only get 3 digit postcodes.

Can anyone help me to get the 660 or 675 maps working with 6.030 and get the full 7 digit postcodes.

The map i am using is GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE.This works fine.

I have also tried uk and ie maps and western europe map, 660 and 675. They are recognised but when you try to switch maps tomtom crashes with a memory access violation. This happens with 6.000, 6.020 and 6.030

I dont have an answer to this, but i'd be very interested to hear one as i have a similar problem. I've been playing around with 6.00, for which i have European maps but only 3-character postcode search, and 6.01, which wont let me use the European maps, but gives me full 6-character postcode search in the UK.

Is it the Maps or the TTN version that dictates if you have 3 or 6 character postcode search?
