Phone Bricked

So I installed Star Enforcer, worked ok for a bit....I told it to get location data and it bricked my phone. It runs at startup and when it runs the whole phone is locked up. I can't even turn the phone off, I have to take the battery out. The only solution I see is a hard reset, but I can't get my files off with active sync, and i REALLLLLLLY don't want to lose everything.

Please help!

Hmm..dilemma...cant access phone due to software install bungle. Dont want to hard reset device as data lost, cant use phone though...hmm weighing it up I'd rather use phone and cop the data loss on the chin. It would seem data is inaccessible. Whats to lose if you cant use it? If it cant be retrieved you have an answer to your problem!! Obviously hard reset is your only option :)

I fixed it....whew....sigh of relief.

A sneaky little trick. I took out my SIM card and it gave me a warning when starting up the phone BEFORE Star Enforcer ran. ActiveSync worked during that and I was able to remove it from startup. Yay!

Nice work... I should have asked if you installed to mem card as well. You would only have to remove the memcard in order to stop it loading. At least it's sorted.
