i have just installed the new opera mini for the Kaiser and i can only say that it sucks, this maybe becasue it is not properly supported you.

firstly you have to open it from the midglet manager which is a pain becasue you can't set it to a hotkey (in my case the old WnW)

midlet manager then asks you to if you want to allow access every time you anything at all.

the gui doesnt even look that good as it is out of scheme with the rest of the PDA

anyone else got a different experience. becasue IE mobile sucks

I have Opera Mini as a program Icon and loaded into my start menu. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6800-xv...et-manager.html

I don't have the link on how to stop the midlet manager from asking permission to access data every time, but a quick Google search will fix that for you too.

Opera Mini is still the hands down best broswer on the Kaiser for me so far.

Still awaiting a SkyFire beta invite....

i have managed to make opera mini a shortcut in my programs list but i can't make the annoying message go away each time i open a webpage. i looked for the '\windows\appdb' folder which isn't even there on my kaiser :)

I have Opera mobile 8.65, not 'mini'. Am I missing something? I like it ok, except that pages do not scroll with a flick. And for me, the pages like xda-dev load mid page?

Opera-mini has some neat features and is well worth a look. Like Mikeeey, though, I can't wait for the new full version of Opera Mobile (v9.5) to come out. The text seems particularly easy to read and scrolling around the page is very fluid. Unfortunately the beta that's floating around causes random slowdowns on my TyTNII so I've had to ditch it for now.
