Guest AzSolo Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Ok well let me start off that im new to this site and I was wondering where i put the files at on my phone after i have downloaded them onto my computer? Kinda new to the whole smartphone. Thanks for your help.
Guest Looby Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Depends which type of Files you mean. If it is a CAB or HME file copy it to My Documents on your device, find it in File Explorer, click on it and it will self install..always choose 'Device' if asked. To remove them go to Tools\Add and Remove Programs in Activesync on your PC and remove them from there. If it is a Zipped-Folder..unzip it on your PC and copy the items to Application Data\Home on your device. To remove them just delete them either on your device or on your PC when you have the home page displayed on your PC via Activesync. Hope this points you in the right direction..looby :)

I unzipped everything to application data/home and i will not work. I have a moto q also.
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Is it this one ? http://www.modaco.com/index.php?automodule...p;showfile=2414 If so it's a cab file so you shouldn't have unzipped it - see Looby's instructions above. Even so, I doubt it will display properly on the Q as it is designed for portrait screens
