Garmin Mobile XT Problem - Program won't start

I bought Garmin Mobile XT about a month ago. When I first started it, the startup page would appear, but before it got to the "I agree" screen, the program spontaneously shut down. I hard reset the device and reinstalled the Garmin Mobile XT software and it started without any problems.

Fast forward 2 weeks. I tried to start up the Garmin software and it kept spontaneously shutting down before I reached the "I agree" screen. I tried soft resetting, but this didn't work. I tried reinstalling the software and soft resetting but this didn't work. I hard reset the device and reinstalled the Garmin software and it worked again.

Fast forward another 2 weeks. Same thing as paragraph 2. At this point, I'm extremely frustrated. I spent $80 on this product and I DO NOT want to hard reset my device every 2 weeks to make this work. I haven't read of others experiencing this problem, but thought I'd start this thread to see if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone has any ideas.

Please note that I transferred the maps to a 4GB card, but the same problem occurred when I used the provided micro SD card. Therefore, I don't believe this has anything to do with the software. Secondly, please note that I did nothing to the phone between the last time it worked and didn't work. This is extremely annoying and frustrating and I can not recommend the purchase of this product by a Blackjack 2 owner at this time. I don't know if the problem is with the software or the phone, but I imagine it's with the software.

Return it or download another copy off the 'net. You own the product so I believe that you are legally allowed to download it.
