Cant get sound when using Sat Nav Software

I have the Bury Uni System 8 handsfree kit for use with my Kaiser. I was aware when I bought it that I would not be able to hear sat nav directions so I cant complain. Apparently when the device is plugged into the cradle the device speaker is disabled. However I was wondering if there was anyway that I can use the cradle for satnav purposes (phone off if necessary) and still have it charging and speaker enabled.
