Guest brinstar Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 i am trying to sync my I600 (WM6) with Outlook 2003, but it wouldn't let me, saying that i needed to create a new connection, so i deleted the old one and started a new one. When i synced calendar events with Outlook, all the ones on my phone were deleted (AARGH) This isn't the first time this has happened, so i should have learnt my lesson by now i guess. How do i prevent this deletion from occuring? Another thing i have noticed is the event colours don't come out as they do on Outlook 2003, i.e. personal (which is normally green) doesn't even show up. I am using the standard WM6 theme (default i think). And when i mark an event as private, it doesn't even show up (which is not what i intended) Someone please tell me i am not the only one to suffer the horror that is Outlook.
Guest Icer Mize Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 Try the following using ActiveSync: Select:Tools: Options: Setting: "If there is a conflict:" Replace Items on Device Replace Items on Desktop There is a lot of information that does not get transferred between the PC and the Phone. I refer to "Outlook" as "Look Out" :)
