SMS Alerts - Can you use MP3s?

Hi,

Is it possible to set an mp3 as the incoming sms alert? I've copied the mp3s i want into \windows\rings but none of them show up in the notifications drop down box...?

Am i missing something simple?

You need to use .wav for SMS alerts. There are oodles of free MP3 to wav converters out there so just Google. Once you have the wav just drop it into the windows folder NOT the rings folder and it will then appear in the drop down box when you select the SMS alert in the usual way.

You can also put them in the root of the memory card.

Thanks boys, knew it would be simple! I have lots of wav converters. I've obviously just been spoilt using SE's before and it being able to use mp3's as standard...
