xda orbit plastic screen ripped

I have ripped the plastic cover on the touchscreen of my xda orbit, the rest of the screen works fine apart from around the tear, I want to replace it but all i can find to replace is the lcd screen and digitiser which i dont think are broken.

Any ideas
