Guest petec500 Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 Picking out a question i raised deep in another thread, i cant see what the difference is between Progam and Storage Memory. For instance, when i installed TTN6 on my Touch, Storage Memory availability went down by about 2M, which i subsequently found to be due to the executable file resting in Program Files directory. Very little change was noticed in Program Memory though. I would have expected the opposite. Someone educate me please! Also, is it possible to vary the balance between the two, i.e. give up Program Memory to provide more Storage Memory? Many thanks.
Guest Shuflie Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 Storage memory is where your programs get stored - similar to the harddrive in a computer Program memory is the bit they run in - similar to the RAM in a computer
