Guest su6oxone Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 Anyone know if there are any internet radio programs that would let you stream from online radio stations like the program on the PSP? Not just going to an online radio website using IE or Opera, but a separate program that just does internet radio?
Guest thelostsoul Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 PocketPlayer from Conduits has ShoutCast integration. I'm not a big fan of ShoutCast, but they have a huge database of online radio stations categorized by genre, and PocketPlayer gives it a nice 'iPhone-like" look-and-feel and allows you to search. It's not a free application, but it's not subscription either.

Guest hawaii50 Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 RadioIO is an old favorite of mine: http://www.radioio.com/ It doesn't satisfy the OP's "not a stream" criteria, but it has loads of channels to choose from and lots of great music. The do have something called Io2Go which may be some sort of separate app, but why bother when you can just use WMP to stream?
Guest tamanaco Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 (edited) I found http://radiotime.com/mobile it works for the stations I want to listen to. I just tried using radiotime with my BJII, but WMP returns an error about not being able to play the format of the station streams I tried. I also have TCPMP installed, but the streams do not start this player either. I have TCPMP associated with most media files. I could not find a RealPlayer for WM for Smartphone. What else do I need to install or modify to get radiotime stations to play in the BJII? . Which stations "specifically" did you tuned to get it to play? Thanks... Edited May 29, 2008 by tamanaco
