Guest SGH-i620 Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) You get the point: some apps just must not go away when memory gets scarce, and AFAIK the apps started from registry HKLM\Init are never killed by WindowsMobile automatically, like normal apps are. Now maybe anybody knows if it is possible to modify a shortcut to an application in a way to make the app look like its been started from init, that is, make it unkillable? I go nuts everytime when my IRC-chat is killed just because I open some very big pages in Opera Mobile... Maybe some WM-guru knows that trick. Edited February 29, 2008 by SGH-i620
Guest SGH-i620 Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Arrrgh this is making me crazy!!! Just as I tried to type a long reply to another topic Opera was killed in the background just because an SMS came in and I wanted to read it!!! Does really nobody know a way to stop Windows Mobile from killing my applications in the background? Unbelieveable! <_< Or am I the only one experiencing this? Aren't you guys having apps that silently disappear in the background?
