Guest chrisell Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Hi all. I used to have a BJ1 with WM5 - used the 5.99 t-mobile plan and it worked great - internet access through PIE, google maps - everything. I upgraded to a BJ2 and set it up the same way - everything works exactly like my old phone except MSLiveSearch and Google Maps will now not connect. They both run OK, but when fetching data, they sit endlessly "loading" and nothing ever appears. MSL eventually times out but GMM just keeps spinning, doing nothing. Anyone got any ideas why this might be? Does GMM just not work in WM6 with the old t-zones hack? GMM is bloody useful and not being able to use it at the moment is like having lost a hand :D Thanks in advance :( FYI this is the configuration I have on my BJ2 to get it on to T-mobile's data... T-mobile MMS (Picture Messaging) settings: Start -> Messaging -> SMS/MMS -> Menu -> MMS Options -> MMS Profiles -> Menu -> New Profile Name: PictureMessaging MMSC URL: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms Proxy: Checked Address: 216.155.165.50 Port: Works using either 8080 or 9201 for me. 8080 is from the T-Mobile web page T-Mobile T-Zones Proxy: Settings -> Connections -> More -> Proxy Name: T-Zones Connects from: The Internet Connects to: WAP Network Proxy (nam:port): 216.155.165.050:8080 Type: HTTP Rest is blank. Guest chrisell Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Solved! Here are the settings for WM6 - slightly different from WM5. settings -> connections -> gprs edit/add the existing T-Mobile Data with the following connects to: wap network access point: wap.voicestream.com username and passwork: (leave blank) authentication type: none primary dns: 216.155.165.50 secondaty dns: 0.0.0.0 ip address: (leave blank) now go back to connections menu select gprs select New... name: tmobile gprs connects to: wap network access point: wap.voicestream.com user name and password: (leave blank) authentication type: none primary dns: 216.155.165.50 secondary dns: 0.0.0.0 ip address: (leave blank) now go to proxy from the connections menu add new proxy name: tmobile proxy connects from: wap network connects to: the internet proxy (name:port): 216.155.165.50:8080 type: HTTP username and password: (leave blank) now go back to the connections menu click menu select advanced set all connections to automatic now open IE click menu select tools select options select connections check automatically detect settings select network: wap network I know you shouldnt need two GPRS accounts but for some reason on certain WM6 phones it ONLY works with both. The Blackjack 2 is one of them.

With this setting though, all internet data such as web, google map, yahoo go work fine, except my POP3 email, until I change the the GPRS "Connects to" back to internet (as what you've set originally) then it flipped, email works but no web browsing.
